Progress 06: Twists and turns


Welcome to a somewhat delayed progress update of Disposition. With these short updates I'll show how I approach certain game design challenges.

What I hadn't realized until I watched the playthroughs is that there's a lot of driving in a straight line. So I added more twists and turns. More bends makes the driving more engaging. And additional crossroads challenges the player's navigation skills.

Another thing on my to do list was making locations more distinct. Think suburbs, apartments and industrial districts. This should give players a better idea of where they are.

In the next updates I'll talk about different enemy types and more story elements.
