Progress 04: On the road

Welcome to another progress update of Disposition. With these short updates I'll show how I approach certain game design challenges.

A big part of Disposition is trying to reach your goal while not getting lost. The darkness, fog and dense forest do a good job in making that a challenge. Maybe a bit too good?

A couple of things should help players reach their goal. Roads are laid out in a way where you either go in the right direction or return where you just came from. A couple of recognizable landmarks also help players orientate.

At the moment I'm preparing the game for release (testing, bug fixing, more testing). I'm looking forward to putting it online and seeing how it's received.
